Jess Bronk is a Portland-based artist known for her intricate and delicate "Bone China" series, which features hand-painted patterns on animal skulls and bones. Her work is deeply influenced by a childhood spent in rural Wisconsin, where countless hours in nature fostered her fascination with the flora and fauna she incorporates into her art. Since moving to Portland in 2001, she has become a part of the city's vibrant art scene, where her unique creations immediately stood out to local galleries and loyal, avid collectors.
Bronk received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting and Drawing from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. In addition to her rural roots, her travels through Europe and Asia as an adult have shaped her artistic style. Her work is sold and showcased at galleries all over the country and the world.
