Jason Limon

Jason Limon

Jason Limon is an American painter and sculptor from San Antonio, Texas, known for his fantastical, storybook-like imagery. After a 12-year career in graphic design, he shifted to fine art in 2007, finding fulfillment in creating physical works by hand rather than being limited by a computer. His style is recognizable for its macabre yet whimsical visual narratives featuring recurring skeletal figures and cryptid creatures. These characters, often set within complex, textural scenes with a muted color palette, are used to explore universal human themes of emotion, memory, and experience.
Limon has exhibited his work extensively, with solo shows in cities including New York, Chicago, and Albuquerque, and participation in group exhibitions both in the US and Europe. His art has been featured in a range of publications and has received accolades from organizations such as the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles. In 2016, his creativity extended beyond the canvas when a toy based on one of his paintings won "Toy of the Year" at the Designer Toy Awards. He continues to live and work in San Antonio, Texas.
In 2025 he released a limited collection of original art "Out of Line" at Brassworks Gallery under the name of Jinn Olasmo.
